Dear readers,
We are using automation for Jira and somehow some email accounts do receive automation emails and some don't receive automation emails.
We have added the domain automationforjira.com to our whitelist, are there other things we have to take into account?
Best regards,
The users may have set their notifications in a way that means they're not notified of the automation action.
If there is someone who isn't getting the notifications - ask them to go into their Personal Settings and check
Hi @Liam Green
Thank you for your reply. It's not the notification scheme from Jira but it's the email send from automationforjira(.com) which are not received by certain mailboxes. They are reported by Jira automation as:
Failed to send to the following e-mail addresses multiple times - please check these are valid: ... , ... , ...
Is there more detailed info for us to dig in at Jira Cloud?
Best regards,

Sorry, your original question didn't mention an error message.
Can you take a screenshot of the automation please?

Hi @Lennard Winkels - Welcome to the Community!
It looks as though the email is incorrect. Have you checked it for spelling mistakes? If it was copied, is there a 'space' at the beginning or end that shouldn't be there?
If you've checked both of those, what happens if you type a different email address?

It's all correct. I've created a custom email field in which we can use any email.
For example, using user1@domain.com does receive mail, user2@domain.com does not receive email and the automation audit generates the error message.
Best regards

Hi
It sounds like it might be a bug then. If you log it with Atlassian directly they will be able to look into it. They're usually quite quick to respond.
