Hi there! I'm in need of some help for functionality we used to have with a previous version of Jira, under a different admin. We have a scenario where we have a custom field that gets set when the ticket is created, but when the workflow step is changed to a certain status, we need a pop-up that asks for a new value for that custom field.
So far, the only luck i have had with it is more of a reminder that the user editing the ticket needs to go in and change the customer field before altering the workflow status, but their team wants it to be part of the workflow status change all in one.
Does this make sense?
You can update the workflow the type of task is using. Click on the transition that need to display the pop up and add a screen on it. The screen has to be created before and contain the field in question on it.
