Why is Jira Agile OnDemand not the same version as the Jira Agile Download?

Casper Rasmussen March 6, 2014

Hi,

My questions is simple, basically what the title says. I don't quit understand why the Jira Agile OnDemand version is not as up to date as the Download version. It's quite annoying that the OnDemand version is couple of months behind the Download version. Can anyone give me a explanation of why this is? or even better when the OnDemand verion 6.3.9.1 will be released?

Thank you!

Hi Casper,

Sorry for the late reply on this! Generally speaking, the OnDemand versions will be slightly ahead of the download versions due to the cadence of releases. However, there are times where there are blockers within the integrated OnDemand architecture that require additional development. You can generally find information about upcoming releases on the OnDemand blog at https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewrecentblogposts.action?key=AOD, and the What's New page at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/What's+New

Cheers,
