Why do my quick filters, which use 'assignee', show a GUID rather than the users name

Paul Treadwell June 28, 2021

I can create the quick filter and type the user's name, but once created it shows the GUID in the JQL column

e.g.  assignee = 5fdb25e091bb2e010819ec65

Hi @Paul Treadwell  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, and... to Jack's answer: One work-around to keep the name visible in your quick filters is to use this syntax: assignee IN ("Paul Treadwell")

Best regards,

Bill

Being new to cloud I had just started facing this issue.

This was very helpful.  Thanks

It works fine on the board but not very helpful to see the GUID.
