Why am I getting Jira notifications

I am getting Jira notifications for items I do not subscribe to. why is this happening. It is happening for multiple ppl in my organization & it is very disruptive.

Hi Marcela,

notifications in Jira are handled by a notification scheme. You or your administrator should check the settings of the notification schemes used by your projects.
