Which products allow for tasks and Subtasks?

I have used Jira before for Software development. i am looking to use some of that functionality for project management, specifically the need for Subtask creation and management.

Which Template should I use or is there a way I can add this function to tasks using one of the Project/task templates?

Hi @Tim Cooley , welcome to the community.

By default tasks and subtasks should be present. However, if they are not, they can easily be added. This can be done in both Company managed and team managed projects within Jira. If you are using Jira software application as the basis for your project management then I would suggest selecting kanban.

I chose Project management as the base. How do i add the Subtask function? I don't see it.

Oh I figured it out! It is call Child issues!
