I"m trying to find DVCS accounts. But I' not finding it. Screen Shot 2022-08-23 at 12.19.26 PM.pngThe docs say

Control whether Smart Commits are enabled for new repositories:
  1. Log in to Jira Software as a user with administrative permissions.

  2. Go to Administration > Applications > DVCS accounts.

  3. Click the  (settings) icon for the account.

  4. Click Enable Smart Commits on new repositories.

Hello @Joel Saltzman

Just to confirm, you are using Jira Cloud?

And are you connecting to a Cloud based repository (i.e Bitbucket Cloud or Github) or to a self-hosted repository?

I am using Jira Cloud, but not connected to any repos. If I select Administration > Products, I find DVCS Accounts there.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm using JIRA Cloud. I am connected to Bitbucket Cloud.

It was under top right Settings -> Product

Yes, the documentation generally means the gear icon next to your avatar when it says "Administration" or "Settings" in that context.
