When resolving an issue, the affected version & fixed version fields are compared

When resolving the issue, I would like to create workflow conditions that enable me to compare the affected version with the fixed version

Resolving the issue will be blocked if the fix version field is less than the affected version. I cannot find or create anything for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone has implemented something similar

Hi Michael,

OOTB, you cannot compare fields as part of a condition or validation. You would need to look at an add-on for this. Please note that the Version Fields can contain text which might make it challenging to do any type of dependable compare.
