When creating new project, issue tasks gave me two Story issue types

Stefannie Tan March 24, 2024

Hi, just what the question title says. One is in Japanese, and the other is in English.

I would like to get rid of one of them and only retain one Story Issue type.

Thank you in advance for any help or insight you might have as to what's causing this!Screenshot 2024-03-25 at 15.32.17.png

Hi @Stefannie Tan,

Someone must have added these to your project. I am not sure where you see this view, but when you navigate to Project settings > Issue Types or Project settings > Issues > Types you should be able to see the list of all types in your project.

You should be able to remove the unwanted types from there.

A small but important remark: if your project is a team managed project, removing issue types will only impact that project. If it is company managed, issue types are linked to your project via an issue type scheme. Editing that scheme will impact all projects in your site that are linked to that scheme. So be aware that you may be impacting more than just your one project in that last scenario.

Hope this helps!
