When I check the activity tab on Jira tickets I see history from years before the ticket was made?

The activity field shows changes made to other jira tickets and to Confluence pages from years ago. The activity seems to go on for ages. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? This issue is only visible for admins customers do not see the endless list of activity history.

@Brady Tierney Welcome to the Atlassian community

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?  Also did you migrate to cloud?

No we haven't recently migrated to cloud. That ticket is only a few days old.

@Brady Tierney Do you have any automations or apps that run at the time of the issue creation?

The backend team solved the issue by resetting the Jira nodes. Thank you for all your help!
