What link should the users use to use Jira ?

Ishant Chhajed November 7, 2017

Hi , I have installed the Jira software on our server and to access it from the server I use the link http://localhost:8080 ...

However other users who dont have access to the server are not able to access the software through this link . What link should they use ? I tried putting the server's IP in the link in place of local host but no success .

Please help with this issue .

Thanks .

ask them to telnet to check if they can communicate to the server machine and port 8080 .

They have to be on the same network your server

Hello,

Server IP must be fine. Maybe port 8080 is closed by firewall.
