We want to migrate data from cloud to on premises version of JIRA existing server

We have two versions of JIRA running with us.

We have taken the backup of all the data from cloud version as .ZIP file and want to import that data to on premises version without affecting existing data and projects that is already available on the on premises version. Kindly provide the steps to do this activity.

Note: We have exported the complete cloud data as ZIP file.

Hello @boobalakrishnan

Welcome to the community.

If you want to move Jira Cloud projects to Jira Server without disturbing the data already on Jira Server then you need to set up a new Jira server first and restore the information there, as mentioned in this document:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/restoring-a-project-from-backup-938847691.html

...which refers to this document

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-from-jira-cloud-to-server-applications-938846963.html

Then you can migrate projects from the new Jira server to your existing Jira server as described in the first document.

Thanks for your response ! I have already tested on new server and the cloud data imported successfully with projects/boards/users & issues. I have clarification/main concern, whether the project migration from new server to existing environment will came with users/boards/issues. Kindly advice. Is there any third party tool, can we use for migration from new server to existing server without affecting the existing projects and data.

Kindly help me on this.

Q.1 Kindly share the steps for all projects imports steps from new server to existing environment

Q.2 Kindly share for particular project import steps from new server to existing environment.

Q.3 How to export the projects steps from new server with attachments/boards/issues.
