Wanting to create a diary overview of all projects created in our account

As a company we want  better overview of how our development team work to see where they are busy and where they have free time. 

We have many projects in our system that we use to represent each client for larger projects, we then have one board which we use to raise issues tickets. 

We need something that can bring everything together so we can see what everyone is doing for any length of time.  I would have thought this would be in a diary format but suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

I hope this makes sense?

Hi @gemma.pickman  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I do not understand how the diary format you describe would answer those questions.  And there may not be anything built-in for out-of-the-box Jira to do that across all the projects and people (Jira users).  It seems like you are describing a people capacity/utilization report over time.

I suggest manually writing out what you think you want this to look like, and then pause to see how well it answers the questions you want to answer.  Adjust it iteratively until it works for you.  Then investigate what Jira can provide or what reports from marketplace addons could help.
