Velocity Report Not showing

Dears,

We have been using JIRA for a long time now and we wanted to fetch some reports for one of our project. But when I had gone to check the Velocity Report, I could not see any reporting happening for this project. 

Currently we are in Sprint 17 and none of the sprint are showing any Velocity Report in it all the status is 0. PFA Screenshot for the same. Can you please help us out with this reporting so that we can fetch the reports for every sprints we work on.

Hi @Nishan Prathima,

My guess is this is related to one of these things to keep in mind:

this extract is taken from this support article. 

So I suspect that either you have enabled the estimation feature, but your issues don't have story points filled out. Or your estimates are on subtasks. If the first case is true, disable the estimation feature in your project. In the other case, don't estimate on subtasks, but on the issues above the subtask level.

Yes Estimation feature is enabled and its showing the radio button to Story Points.

But why is my Sprints showing 0 for commitment and completed even if I have enabled Story Points Estimation ?

Based on the description I shared with you:

• either because there are no story point estimates on your issues
• or because you added story points to your subtasks instead of your stories.

One additional question: is this a team-managed project?

If at all we have missed to assign story points for the user stories then what happens?

if we have missed and later we go and add the story points for the completed sprints does this include in Velocity Report or will the velocity report show 0 since Story Points were not added ?
