I created an issue today. When I tried to assign it no users (other than myself) showed up in the list. I can go to administration and see my users. If I look at the user details I can see that they are assigned to the Jira Software product and the jira-software-users group. The strange this is when I go into Project Settings -> Permissions and click on Permission helper no users show up there. Not even myself. I'm totally at a loss. We've been using this project for several years. It worked fine last week but all of a sudden it stopped working this week. Any help would be appreciated

I am seeing other posts with similar issues. There has to be an Atlassian issue at hand. However it has not yet been reported in status.atlassian.com

Maybe someone has changed the Permission Scheme. Try to re-assign the original Permissions Scheme or try to create a new one with the groups, roles and users that you need in each category of permissions.
