I am trying to set up automation rule to synchronise fix versions of sub tasks to parent issue. Its working fine when I change or assign a version to an issue ,but when I remove the fix version from the issue it does not take away fix version from the subtasks.
I am not sure what I am missing here, can anyone please help?

If you want to have the subtask Fix Version exactly match its parent issue Fix Version, then uncheck the box "Add to existing values".
With that box checked the Fix Version field in the subtask will only have values added to it, not removed from it.

Hello Srinivaas,
You need to click on the ... button to the right of the field and then select COPY.
Then click in the area where you see text automatically displayed in the field.
Clicking in that space will give you a pop-up where you can select the issue to copy values from, and the field in that issue to copy values from.
You'll need to change the field that says Current Issue to Parent issue.
That is also the dialog where you need to uncheck the box for Add to existing values.
