Upcoming changes: 'epic-link' replaced with 'parent'

• We have noticed the parent field and Parent link field for a while now. any idea when the Epic-link /parent link field option will be moved to the bread crumb parenting Experience as we have not yet seen this change?
  • When the bread crumb function is implemented does this mean we will not have to add the Parent field (same as we would add the Epic-Link) to a custom field on the create or Edit Screen anymore or will this field have to replace the Epic-link field on any existing or new screen?
• Also what will happen to any dashboard or filter that makes use of the Epic Link. Basically will the Epic-Link be removed permanently at some time?
• Finally will all these changes be applied to any of the Jira addons that we are currently making use of?
