Unable to see project

I have created a company based project and created a group for the same and added users to the group, I have provided browse project permission and all other permission to that group, an individual of that group is able to access project via link, he is able to view that project and do everything in that project, but that user is unable to see the project in the project list

Hi Ayush,

Are you really using the Free subscription? Because you cannot change the permissions under the free plan - everyone has access to everything.

No am not using the free subscription, i have a paid version of jira for the company i work

Okay thank you for the clarification because this page has it listed as Free plan under Product Plan.

Is this a Company-managed project or Team-managed project? How did you add the user?

And on what screen are they not seeing the project listed?

And you are verifying that they can't see the project in the list of projects, but they can see individual issues on the project - correct? What happens if they do a simple query like Project = ABC where ABC is the project?

Its a company managed project and i have created group and added those members in that group, i have provided them with all the permissions...in there jira instance when they click on the project drop down menu, and when they click on view all projects, in that screen they are unable to see the project and am not sure what happens when they run project='project name'

See what happens when they do that. Then the other thing is to try the Permission Helper while you are in the Permission Scheme. It will ask you for the type of permission (Browse Project), the username, and an Issue key on the project. That should tell you what is going on.
