Unable to release

I am trying to Release stories in JIRA and I am getting the following popup:

 

I have released other branches and so have other teams with the Resolution showing “unresolved”.  Did code change or is it a workflow issue?  If workflow, I tried to make an edit but I don’t have admin rights.  I don’t know if that is the issue or not.  Can someone assist in correcting the unresolved issues?

I am also having this issue on all my projects with the latest release. Note these are historic releases that did not have the issue until now

It's certainly an issue with the workflow.

The issue should have the resolution field value set to something in order to say the issue is "resolved" else it is treated as "unresolved"

You could internally work with admin to get this resolved and release the version.

Our issues are all set to Done and when we set to Done it is mandatory to enter resolution - in most cases Done or Fixed but we have issues showing resolution as Unresolved so something not right for recent updates in Jira.

I am the the admin and no way to bulk change!!!
