Translate Custom Field - Not saving changes

I’m trying to translate a custom field but when I click “Update” the changes are not being saved.

I am only updating the field name and not the description.

The relevant language pack is installed.

Jira Data Centre v9.4.2

I can’t see any related bugs on the Atlassian Issue portal.

Hi @C Jay

Can you confirm that this behavior is same for all custom fields that you want to change? I mean no matter which custom field you are changing name is it not updated?

Did you tried on a different browser maybe?

Hi @Mirek

Thanks for your response.

The behaviour is the same for all customs fields.

I have tried on both Edge and Chrome.

Hi @C Jay

What is your default language in the instance? What language are you changing/translating? Did you actually change your local language in your profile? If not can you check if there is any difference?

Hi @Mirek

By changing my local language from English to French, I can see that the translations are if there.

Thank you for your help.
