Hi,

I have a problem with the "Time Tracking" functionality for a given project. It does show the hours allocated to a specific task :

screen 1.png

But when I select the epic related to this task, the "Time tracking" feature is not visible. I expect it to show the worked hours of all tasks contained in the epics. (screen 2)

It does work on other projects though (screen 3) :

But I can't find the setting that's causing the problem in my project. Can you help me ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Thibaud

Time Tracking won't appear unless one of the relevant fields is populated - i.e...

  • Original Estimate
  • Remaining Estimate
  • Time Spent

^ Once one is populated, it will appear on the Epic.

Just to note...

  • Original Estimate is only available if "Time Tracking" is on the screen
  • There's no "roll-up" to Epic for the time tracking, if this is what you want to do - but you can either do this via Automation, or use an App from the Marketplace
