The generated api key is working fine in local machine but not in staging server.

Hello Sir,

As instructed in the https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/deprecation-notice-basic-auth-and-cookie-based-auth/ I generated a new token and used it inmy application to connect jira rest apis. I was able to retrieve the values from my local server. But when I moved the code to production server it shows Http status 401.

o.a.c.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector : Unable to respond to any of these challenges: {oauth=OAuth realm="https%3A%2F%2Facmsviseo.atlassian.net"}

Kindly let me know if I need to create unique token per machine?

Thanks and regards,

Vinod.

Hello,

You need generate a token for each Jira Server. If you have a staging server and a production server, then you need to generate a token for the staging server and a token for the production server.
