My issue is the following.
I have changed the epic as an issue type (deleted the original one, and created a new one). I now see the epics I have defined as issues without an linked epic on the kanban board. I was expecting to see the epics on the epics panel.
I am relatively new to Jira and my search in the knowledge articles and documentation did not give an answer. The only direction I got was related to the server version where it stated that the Epic ID which Jira refers to points to the wrong issue type (the 'old' epic) and needs to be corrected.
I hope someone could help me with this issue.
Was the previous Epic in the Epics Panel? Or are all Epics on the Board?
