Hi @Garima Pal ,

You can try AIO Tests for Jira. We are one of the few test management tools that do not treat test entities like cases, executions, cycles, runs, etc. as Jira issues. This approach helps us provide a more seamless and intuitive way of test management.

Key features of the app are

  • easy creation and import of test cases
  • linking to Requirements (Jira stories)
  • organizing in Folders and Sets
  • efficient execution with analytical view of multiple test executions
  • easy recording of run defects and artifacts
  • inbuilt traceability and execution reports

Here is a link to our documentation -

If you would like a demo, please contact us through our support portal

Hi @Garima Pal,

There are many test management solutions for Jira, we have created two of them: RTM and TestFLO.

This wizard will ask you a few questions, and suggest which of our two solutions is better suited to your needs.

You can also request a demo of these tools through our support channel.

"Best" is not something we can objectively judge for you in this area.

I can say good things about at least 1/4 of the list at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=test%20management (the other 3/4 I simply haven't used, so I can't judge them)

But which one might be "best" for you, I cannot say without a good look at how you would like to work.

My only bias here is that I prefer the ones that don't try to handle test plans as Jira issues - that feels clunky in places.

Hello @Garima Pal

I can recommend our QAlity - Test Management for Jira. It contains all essential test management features, such as managing test cases, planning test cycles, executing tests and marking failed steps, execution report. It's free of charge. If it turns out that you ever need more advanced capabilities, you will be able to switch seamlessly to the paid version - QAlity Plus - Test Management for Jira that we are actively developing.

Best,
Sebastian

hi @Sebastian Brudziński @Monika Kaczmarek

Is it possible to create a Regression Test Suite in QAlity?

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Although we have discussed this matter already through our channel, I'd like to share my response here as well, in case if anybody else is wondering as well.

You can group the Test Cases in a Test Cycle named Regression. Then you can proceed and execute all Test Cases within the "Regression" Test Cycle.

To make it easier for next Regressions, you can clone your Test Cycle and edit its description and version.

You can learn more about Test Cycles in our documentation here. In case of any questions, please feel free to also contact me here. I will be happy to assist.

Hi @Garima Pal ,
You might want to check out AgileTest.
It is one of the most well-known test management for Jira tool in the moment, full-featured, supporting all testing methodologies. And one big catch is that it is free for download
Check out their website here: https://agiletest.app and it is really simple to use.
You also want to check their demo video: Here

I have found this new tool AgileTest Test Management for Jira, it looks very promising. Tried and really like the Test Script and Session for ad-hoc test.

When the team implement all the test case management features they planned it will be better than the old ones such as xRay or Zephyr.

Should give it a try https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1230085/agiletest-test-management-for-jira
