Hello,

We as a team want to use the task/spike information within the JIRA environment, to avoid multiple communication and administration.

Now I understand that as soon we have filled-in the information in a task, after moving it to the DONE lane, the information is vanished after 2 weeks. We have to keep those information present, otherwise we have to administrate things also in Excel as an example.

Can somebody help me telling how to keep all information alive and kicking in Jira

Many thnx

Armand

Hi @Armand and welcome to the Community!

Your information is not gone; it is just hidden from the board after  weeks because the board view is designed to help your team manage their work that still needs to be done or is in progress. Having a long list of items there that does not need any more work, makes it difficult for people to focus on the things that need attention.

If you want to pull a list of completed items, just navigate to Filters > view all issues. Select your project and status Done and you will be able to retrieve all the done items there. In advanced mode (JQL), you can perform complex searches across your entire Jira there as well.

Hope this helps!
