Summary board is showing error

I am trying to compare status over view   under Summary Dashboard with list of tasks and it is not matching.

Foe example , I have 2 Tasks - Done , 3 Tasks -Develop and 2 Tasks - Todo under List View.

Under Status overview :  Todo-5, Development -4 Done -0.

They both are not reflecting the same number. I tried clearing the filters but nothing worked.

In your List view it looks like you have two issues that have child issues; the first one and the one second from the bottom. Expand those to see their child issues.

The Summary counts all issue types. The apparent difference in totals for To Do is likely due to the child issues.

Also, the Status Overview should match what you see on the Board view. For example, issues that have been Done for 14 or more days are automatically hidden from the Board view. Those will also not show in the Status Overview.

Thank you for responding.

So, is this a 2 week Project status over view? Not the complete project status overview? How can I include the completed tasks in status overview  that were done 14 days or before?

Only the Done/green-status issues are aged off the board automatically after 14 days.

This is not a configurable option in Work Management projects. Since the Status Overview widget is designed to match what is visible on the Board you will not be able to make the widget show issues that have been Done for more than 14 days.

If you want the same graphic that includes all the issues in the project regardless of how long they have been "done", you would need to use the Jira Dashboard feature and add a similar widget (i.e. Pie Chart) to that separate dashboard.

I guess we have to do that. Thank you Trudy.

Just to close the loop, that limitation on the Status Overview is documented:
