Statuses in Team Managed Project are not working in Two Dimensional Filter Statistics

I have a workflow with multiple statuses, but when i use two-dimensional filters the values for the statuses are incorrect. For instance, I have 4 issues which have the following statuses

1 is New, 1 is Ready to Test and 2 are Done.

The two-dimensional filter shows status and assignee

But it shows 3 are done and 1 is new

If I use a Filter Results to list the issues it shows all four, but if I sort the status column it does not sort in the order 1 New, 1 Ready To Test then 2 Done. The Ready To Test is sorted so that it appears between the 2 Done issues.

Hi Steve, any resolution here?

Hi Steve - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

pretty much all sorting in filters will be alphabetically, or if a number, then highest to lowest or vice versa. Statuses can have ALL transitions to them, meaning an issue can go to one of several statuses next as the flow is not very linear. therefore, it is not possible to sort in the order. You have them in a workflow. They will always be sorted alphabetically.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to answer my query. Unfortunately the sort is not working alphabetically, in a new example, the status appears to be sorted REVIEW, CLOSED, REJECTED, CLOSED. I've managed to get Atlassian to take a look, so I'll report back here on any resolution in case someone else faces the same problem in future.
