Show Sagas which contains at least one Epic from a specific other Project

Edited

Hello,

i have a Problem, hopefully you guys can help me :)

Lets say we have two Projects

  • Project1 (SAGA Level Project --> One Product)
  • Project2 (EPIC Level Project --> One of several Sub-Product)

What i need is as follows:

I want to have a list of all SAGAS from Project1 which contains at least one or more EPICS from Project2

My aim is to get a Overview on SAGA Level with Topics which are relevant for me and my Sub-Product.

What would the JQuery seems like?

update - Additional explanation:

In Project1 are 3 SAGAS

  • SAGA-1 has no EPICS --> Empty SAGA
  • SAGA-2 has severel EPICS but NON of them are from Project2
  • SAGA-3 has severel EPICS and at least one of them is from Project2

Now i want a filter which shows me only SAGA-3!!

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Yagmur Gümüs ,

Can you please provide more details on what SAGA is? Is it a specific issue type for Project 1? Thanks!

Hi Carlos,

yes, it is a Issue Type like Epic or Story, the most upper one:

Saga (Project1) -> Epic (Project2) -> Story (Project2)

respectively

Saga (Product) -> Epic (Sub-Product 1) -> Story (Sub Product 1)

Basically Project1/Product is for High Level Tracking of all the different Sub-Products. Each Sub-Product has than its own Jira Project but does not work with Sagas anymore but links to the Sagas on Product Level with its Epics.

Lets assume there is a Topic called update Databases Security Patch.

  • This would be a Saga in Project 1 (Product)
  • Lets assume there are 4 Sub-Products, each of them would be an own Jira Project
  • Now Each Sub-Product would have a corresponding EPIC in its own Jira Project and would be linked to the SAGA on Product Level
  • The Saga in Project 1 would than have 4 Epics linked to itself each from annother Jira Project.
