I have a customer looking to use Atlassian products but the security team are looking for further confirmation as to how information is protected when using the cloud based products.
Also, when connecting to Atlassian cloud-based products, is the data path encrypted? If not are there options available?
@Ian Terry, you might wish to start with Security at Atlassian. You may also be interested in looking at Access depending on your requirements. Access is an important initiative announced during this week's Summit.
Thank you for the information, I did take a look at the Security at Atlassian previously and forwarded the link to the security team - they are assessing, it should be sufficient in my view.
The Access looks interesting and I need to do my own review before submitting to the customer.
