Hi @Rodger Mann  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

To help the community provide input, would you please answer...

  • Are you using a Classic or Next-Gen project?
  • Are you using a Scrum or Kanban board?
  • What reports are you currently seeing as available?

Thanks, and best regards,

Bill

Thank you, Bill!

We are using a Classic Project, and a Kanban Board.. I see the following reports:

  • Cumulative Flow Diagram
  • Control Chart
  • Average Age
  • Created v. Resolved Issues
  • Pie Chart
  • Recently Created Issues
  • Resolution Time
  • Single Level Group
  • Time Since Issues
  • Time Tracking
  • User Workload Report
  • Version Workload Report
  • Workload Pie Chart Report

Hi Rodger,

Thanks for clarifying your set up.  The Epic Report is only available for Scrum boards.  Perhaps the designers took a very purist view of pull-only, small work items only, Kanban, where this report (and the associated Epic Burn Down) are only relevant for teams using iteration velocity with Scrum.

There is probably a marketplace add-on to add a similar report for Kanban.

As a work-around, you could export the epic's issues and create your own report in a spreadsheet.  Or, re-purpose one of the dashboard gadgets by assigning your epic and its children to a version.
