Take a scenario,
There is a project role "role1" with default users "d_user1" and "d_user2".
"Project-A" has "role1" in their project and they add one more user "a_user1" to that role.
Now, "Project-B" also has "role1" in their project, they added new user "b_user1" to that role and they removed default user "d_user1".
In this case:
1. will the default user deleted from Project-A's role1 also?
2. What will the case if new project wants to get that role?
Hi @Manoj Kumar R,
Default users of a role just get assigned to that role when you create a new project. Any changes you apply to role membership (adding or removing users) in that project afterwards only impacts that project and nothing else.
So to answer your questions directly:
will the default user deleted from Project-A's role1 also?
No
What will the case if new project wants to get that role?
When you create a new project, the default members of a role at that time will be added automatically to your project. Any other users you want to add to or remove from the project will have to be configured manually afterwards.
The only function of default role members is to reduce the overhead of assigning people to the desired roles when you create new projects. They are copied into that project, rather than linked to the default settings.
Hope this helps!
