Remove person's avatar from kanban board filters

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to remove one person's avatar from top of the kanban board, where the filters are. Is there a way to edit it?

Hi Maciej,

No, you cannot remove that. The avatars present show yourself and anyone who has an issue on the board assigned to them.

Thank you!

Couple of mitigation techniques that I employ:

  • Configure the board's "Hide completed issues older than" setting to something less than "Never mind, show all" or "4 weeks".  Tightening it up to 1w or 2w may help reduce old avatar IDs.
  • Create a quick-filter to show active WIP items and items completed only in the past few days in the Done column. e.g. "Status not in (Done) OR status changed after -3d".    And remember to hit a ctrl-r refresh on your browser (unless Jira fixed it recently to update avatars immediately).  The set of avatars will then be reduced to just current and recently completed work.
