Releasing version within Jira Agile Plan view

Rather than digging thru the project page -> admin -> manage versions to release a version, I'd like to be able to do it within the JIRA Agile plan view

Hello Yen,

Firstly I suppose that you want to add-versions to your Project cause releasing it will required to be done on work mode as it would remove the story from the sprint.

To add-versions to a board you can do that in Plan Mode Click Versions on the left screen and then add them.

Take a look on this kb on how to do that in more details.

I already know how to add versions - that's the easy part. I want to release a version from the agile scrum board - anywhere is fine really if it prevents me from digging deep into admin settings. I would only want to do this after stories are all resolved and after the sprint is over, but currently there is no option to do that aside from my above steps. Thanks! Yen
