Hi Joseph - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

As it says, you will need to have someone with access to Edit the workflow to see what Validators and/or Conditions might be on there.

Problem I'm having is that it won't allow me to add to a draft workflow but how do I add the the transition without editing which makes it a draft

That's because there is no existing exiting transition from the status. So Jira forces you to make a copy of the Workflow, edit the copied workflow while it is still inactive, then add the new workflow to your existing Workflow Scheme. Be sure to match up the issue types that the current workflow is using so you will be in effect replacing the current workflow.

I know, that's a pain - and I consider it a bug. Atlassian has a team currently working on solving that for the future, but that's the process right now.

Hi @Joseph Obafemi

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

As per the screenshot that you shared it looks that there is no transition on the Status "READY FOR DEPLOYMENT". Kindly add the transition to the status then it will start appearing in your Status DropDown.

Edit the Workflow, click on the status "READY FOR DEPLOYMENT" and on the left side panel you will get the option to add the transition as shown in below screenshot:

Then select From status and provide a Name to the transition and click on Add button the publish the workflow.

Thank you,
Ashish
