Why isn't {color:red}*required{color} like this?

Hi,

First, I will translate the Korean language that will appear on the screen.

{color:red}*필수 항목{color} is {color:red}*required{color}

결재 is Payment, 통보 is Notice.

Payment, which is a custom field created with User Picker, applies {color:red}*required{color}.

Notification is a custom field created in the Asset object.

{color:red}*Required{color} Does not apply.

Why? Is it not possible to apply a custom field created as an asset object?

As @Alexey Matveev has already shared that it's not supported out of the box.  Since, you have Script Runner plugin installed then you can explore option like writing a custom JQL function for your requirement.
