We are using the default priority scheme from Jira. We didn't have any problems, but at some point, Jira just started to set issues to "blocker" automatically, when you edited and saved an already existing issue.
We couldn't find the reason for that. Now it sets every issue created to the priority "blocker" automatically. And I can't even delete the priority. You can only replace it with a different priority. But most of our issues shouldn't have a priority at all.
How can we stop Jira from setting the priority automatically? And why does it set the priority "blocker", when you only edit an issue?
Thanks a lot for your help :)
Hi Folk's
The question of where the mysterious PDF export of search results comes from has been solved !!
It's not core JIRA functionality. It's not the JIRA PDF View Plugin nor the Xporter for JIRA pluging (at least not for us.. we don't have them installed). It is.... wait for it....
JEditor. Yes folk's the plugin that brings you enhanced editing within defined jira fields also provides this functionality. We are currently working out the current nuances of the functionality with the vendor (apparently it's only meant for list view - button is meant to be hidden in detail view) and performance depends on number of fields in the view.
Thankyou for all of your detective work :-)
happy trails
regards
Kai

Sure. I hope your problems get fixed soon.
If you decided to try the PDF View Plugin, it can export both single issues and search results. It has no performance problems with hundreds issues and hundres of fields.

Hi Kai
Currently JIRA doesn't support export issue search results into PDF format, I am suspecting you could be using the following third-party plugin that contains this feature:
