The custom field does not have the up/down arrow on the Plan's Roadmap view

Hello,

I am not sure if this is an available feature but the custom field does not have the up/down arrow on the Plan's Roadmap view. In my case I am testing with the custom field called "Category". I am using another custom field called start date and the arrow is available but not for the category or the other ones. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

I am afraid, that you can not prevent a single field from editing by using workflow properties as @Bhushan Nagaraj mentioned. By using workflow properties you can only disable editing of all fields.

There is no way to restrict editing of a single field in Cloud.

Thanks for clarifying @Alexey Matveev. Yes this restricts editing all fields on the issue. Not just the Description field.

No way to edit restricting a single field.

Hey Shivraj,

Please take a look at Advanced Workflow Configuration - Properties at

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/advanced-workflow-configuration-776636620.html#Advancedworkflowconfiguration-transitionproperties

Hope that helps.

Note, as Alexey points out below, this restricts editing the whole issue and not just the Description field. There is no way to restrict editing a single field.
