We have a task that needs to be done, but it could only be done in 2 months from now. I want to create a ticket and create a reminder within Jira, so I'll receive a reminder or a notification that we now need to work on this task.
Does anybody know if this is a feature or automation native to Jira, or perhaps is familiar with a 3-party app that can be integrated in order to accomplish that?
What are you trying to accomplish? and why?
If you mean mingling boards, then remember the board is just a view of a query. You can combine as many as you like for export, have at it.
BUT
It will not play nicely with native JIRA reporting.
And there is a 1000 row limit
If you mean mingling JIRA instances, then the answer is "it depends". The data fields would need to be named similarly (exact) across both instances or you will have corrupt or, at best, misaligned data.
