tasks will not get saved on the "board" in jira

Whenever I create an issue in Jira it right away gets visible on the board. But when I do that now it will not save it on the board 

It just gives me a pop-up that says: "If the issue should be visible, it has to match your project and filters and have a status that is assigned to the board". But I already checked that, and it looks correct?

Do anyone know what I can do to fix this issue?

Thank for your response.  I did see this page.

It was my hope that someone had simply recorded the steps in text in the same sequence they were performed.
