I am not receiving any email notifications (nor any of my colleagues). Pull requests, mentions, watched tasks, etc. We didn't change anything and it stopped a few days ago. Can you take a look at that, please?

This can happen when the installer is unable to determine if it created the previous jira user or not.
You can follow the steps outlined in this knowledgebase article to resolve the situation. This just involves removing the duplicate 'jira1' user and setting the permissions/scripts back to use the standard 'jira' user.
