Why the username is reverting back again after updating in jira?

Hello team,

Good Day

Could you please advise, why the username is reverting back again after updating it in Jira. We have a crowd server directory. We observed that, when we changed the username in Jira it will be updating in crowd directory also. But after some time username is reverting back with old username in Jira and crowd.

Please let us know if any additional info needed.
