Why can't I create a sprint when one is already active?

I can understand not being able to *start* a sprint when one is already active, but I can't see why I can't create one.

Essentially, I want to start planning the sprint by moving issues out of the backlog into the new sprint, and creating new issues - the objective is to reduce the time taken up by planning meetings.

The problem is a bug in the Workflow editor. The problem occurs when placing the anchors at the edge of the state blocks. After switching to Text view and back to Diagram, the anchors reset to default position in the middle of the block. Therefor, the arrows and labels move as well. The workaround is to place the anchors somewhere within the state blocks. After doing that, everything stays put.
