Why I don't get email notifications?

I didn't change anything regarding emails notifications, but I'm not getting emails when any event from the list occurs.

On the issue that should be a sub-task, Look in the options menu for "convert to sub-task", it will ask you what parent you want it under.

Thanks, I was hoping it was that easy but there is no option for 'convert to sub-task' in the options menu.

That will happen if you have no sub-task types in the "issue type scheme".  Check the project supports sub-tasks in there.

Thanks for the help.  The sub-tasks types were there, but the previously mentioned option was not in the setting menu.  Once I selected 'See old view', that option then showed as available.
