The activity field shows changes made to other jira tickets and to Confluence pages from years ago. The activity seems to go on for ages. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? This issue is only visible for admins customers do not see the endless list of activity history.
You can't. Jira doesn't know, or care that an issue has been cloned. It's an issue, if cloning is available, it will let you do it.
