Use current sprint in jira Automation rules

Hi, I would like to write an automation rule that looks at the current sprint for cards that are in a done status and fix version is empty.  I am not sure how to identify the current sprint in the rule automatically.  I dont want to use the current sprint number or name as I want the automation rule to work each sprint with out making any changes. Has anyone done this before and can show me a coding example?

The problem went away when I determined that I could update the Watcher field directly with a trigger, rather than using an intermediate custom field as recommended in an earlier answer.

FWIW, by "automated change", I meant something done by firing a trigger rather than by a person's manually making a change.

JIRA doesn't give that level of control. A change is a change regardless of how it was accomplished.
