How would you set it up so that when an issue is moved to "pending" status that the timer automatically starts and have the timer automatically stop when the issue is moved to "done" status. Then display the difference in another field so that you can see how long an issue takes to complete from the time it's started to the time it is completed?

Hello there.

I tried to reproduce the issue on JIRA Server 7.12.1 but I did not have any issues with that as we can see in the screen shots below:

1. The original Full Name is set as danial atlassian:

2. I changed the name to Danial Atlassian (change the capitalization of the first letter for both first and last name)

 

3. The name gets updated correctly:

Perhaps you can provide the version of JIRA and some screen shots to display the steps reproduce performed on your end for clarity?
