I'm trying to setup our JIRA with our SSL cert. I'm a noob when it comes to Java and SSL though. I've tried to follow the instructions here -> Running Jira applications over SSL or HTTPS | Administering Jira applications Data Center and Server 9.11 | Atlassian Documentation but I'm having trouble with the Java portion.
I see the JIRA\jre\bin folder but no java, if that makes sense. If someone could provide more simple instructions I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
Please do not mix up status and resolution.
Status is an indicator of where an issue is in the workflow. Resolution is a flag that when <empty> means the issue needs attention, and when it's filled, the issue needs no more work (and the value should be indicative of why no more is needed)
You should set and clear resolution as you move in and out of status you consider "done"
Hi @Greg Flinn,
Please see this kb: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/resolutions-are-not-set-225122076.html
Kind regards,
Marcin

Hello @Greg Flinn
If you didnt have screens with resolution on this transition and want to set default resolution during the transition, you need to add "Update Issue Field" postfunction, that will be set Resolution.

Hi @Greg Flinn
You would need to set a resolution in the workflow step or pop up the Resolved Issue Screen and get the user to set a resolution.
