Our board is cluttered with former team members. Half of the folks in the assignee and requester dropdowns no longer work here.
I've removed the users from our board. I have tried systematically removing them from stories, but still they persist in the dropdowns. Ideas?

Can you clarify what you mean by classifying the comment exactly? It's unclear to me.

It means we need to segregate the comment of each user in different activity panel tab.
Like- DileepCommentTab:- All my comment should display is this activity tab.
ShannonCommentTab:- All your comment should display is this activity tab.

This is not possible out-of-the-box in Jira. You would need to edit the Jira source code in order to do this.
Have a look at our Developer Site and have a look at Download Jira Source Code for information on how to obtain the source code.
