I've tried to read through other threads for this issue, but none of it is helping me. I didn't have any issues moving issues in my backlog yesterday. I need to do it today, but now I receive the message: Ranking is disabled as the Filter Query for this board is not ordered by ascending Rank. Check filter configuration.
Some of the tips provided by others I can't locate on my board. I'm a self-taught Admin and this stumps me.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
Hi Luciana, since the ticket is in On Hold status - it's not part of your backlog by default most probably.
Seems that you are using the "Scrumban" option (Kanban backlog) in which the first column (to do) is also visible in your Backlog view.
Please go to your board configurations and under columns make sure On Hold is mapped to Kanban backlog (leftmost column, see attached example).

I can see them. They are not in the Backlog, but in To do. If you expand the "to do", you will see them in the backlog view.
If you want issues off your to do column and in the backlog, you should be able to drag them there from 'to do'.
If you can't, that is probably because there is no valid status mapped to the backlog. You could either map your 'to do' column to the backlog or add a backlog status to the workflow, before 'to do'.

Hi Walter, thanks. Indeed if I expand I do see the open issues but not the on hold. I've solved the issue thanks to the previous feedback. Thanks a lot for your time. Luciana
