Project Status Field

Hi, 

I looking for a possibility to create Project status field which later I want to automize depending on the tickets statuses. 

I was thinking to add it to Project Details, but can't find any possibility to add a field to Project details. 

Maybe someone has any ideas or suggestion on a plugin that can be used for it?

It might sometimes put things into the Tomcat working directory or temporary directories, but that is not something you need to worry about, as they're transient and not needed if Jira is stopped.

A background re-index is just updating the index, it's not creating copies anywhere.
